About the Shure GLXD+ Frequency Manager

Six wireless channels running independently in the same room is six systems each making its own decisions. The GLXD+FM makes them one system. It looks at the whole community of linked receivers, assigns each transmitter and receiver pair the best frequency available across both bands, and keeps backups warm so that a channel under interference moves without an audible gap.

What it changes on site

Channel count goes up, because the frequencies are planned together rather than found independently
RF performance improves across the whole set, not just the channel that was struggling
It powers the linked receivers, so the rack loses its power strip and its wall warts
Setup becomes a link and a scan instead of a per-channel exercise

How far it scales

One manager links up to six GLXD4R+ receivers. Cascade three of them and the whole set behaves as a single managing unit across 16 receivers, which covers a full conference speech plan or a mid-size band. Beyond that the conversation becomes a licensed UHF system, and we will tell you when you have reached it.
