Overview

About the Radial Pro DI

The standard answer to the standard problem. An instrument or a playback source has an unbalanced high impedance output, the console wants a balanced low impedance input, and the two ends of the stage are on different grounds. The ProDI solves all three at once with an Eclipse ET-DB2 transformer and a ground lift switch, and it needs no power to do it.

The thru jack matters

The 1/4 inch thru output passes the source on to the player's own amp while the XLR feeds the console. That is what keeps a bass rig sounding like itself on stage while front of house takes a clean balanced feed, instead of choosing between them.

Built to survive

14 gauge steel chassis inside an outer shell, which is a construction that treats being stood on as a normal Tuesday. Passive throughout, so there is no phantom power dependency and nothing that can be the reason a channel goes quiet.
