About the Sennheiser EM 100 G4

evolution wireless G4 is the system that turns up at more Australian events than any other, and the EM 100 G4 is its workhorse receiver. True diversity, two antennas and two receiver sections comparing signals continuously, which is what keeps a presenter walking a stage from finding the one dead spot in the room. 1680 frequencies across a 42 MHz switching bandwidth, tunable in 25 kHz steps.

Coordination without drama

20 frequency banks with up to 12 factory-preset, mutually compatible channels each means a multi-channel plan is a bank selection rather than a maths exercise. Intermodulation attenuation of 65 dB or better and 70 dB blocking are the numbers that decide whether channel six survives when channels one to five are live in the same rack.

Four EQ presets on the receiver

Flat, Low Cut at -3 dB from 180 Hz, High Boost at +6 dB at 10 kHz, or both together. Applied at the receiver, which means a lapel mic buried under a jacket gets its presence back before the signal reaches the console, and a boomy lectern gets cleaned up without spending a console EQ on it.
