About the Sennheiser SK 300 G4 RC

The all-metal bodypack from Sennheiser's 300 series, tuning across a 50 MHz range with up to 2000 selectable frequencies. RC stands for remote control: this version carries a dedicated input for the RMS-1 remote mute switch, so a presenter or a performer can be muted from a switch on the cable rather than reaching for the pack.

Switchable RF power is a coordination tool

10, 30 or 50 mW. Turning the power down is not a compromise, it is how a dense channel plan stops its own transmitters from intermodulating with each other in a small room. Turn it up when the performer is working the back of a marquee.

Readable under pressure

The backlit LCD shows frequency, bank, channel, audio level, lock state, pilot tone, mute and battery. That is enough for a tech to diagnose a channel in a dark wing in five seconds, which is the only time anyone ever reads it.
