About the URSA Belt

Radio mic packs have to go somewhere, and a waistband and a bulldog clip is not a plan that survives a costume change or a dance number. The URSA Belt is a purpose-made beige waist strap that holds a transmitter flat against the body, cuts to the exact size of the performer, and washes between shows.

Cuttable, and washable

115 cm out of the packet, cut to length for the person wearing it, so there is no excess strap to bunch under a costume. The double bonded fabric holds its shape under a heavier pack rather than stretching out over a season, and the whole thing goes in a machine, which is the reason a hire belt can be handed to the next production and not be unpleasant.

Beige for a reason

Beige disappears under light costume and against most skin tones far better than black, which reads as a hard line through thin fabric under stage light. Pouches to suit the transmitter are available separately, or a pack clips directly to the belt.
