About the Shure GLXD1+

The bodypack half of the GLX-D+ system. It works across 2.4 and 5.8 GHz alongside its receiver, moving off interference automatically, and it runs up to 12 hours on the SB904 rechargeable pack. The housing is metal, which matters on the item most likely to be dropped, sat on and clipped to a waistband under pressure.

TA4M input

The locking 4-pin mini XLR takes the standard Shure range of lavaliers, headsets and instrument cables, so one pack covers a lapel this morning and a guitar this afternoon. Locking, because the connector on a bodypack is the failure point that ends a speech.

Rechargeable across the whole system

The same SB904 pack runs the GLXD2+ handheld, so a package of handhelds and bodypacks shares one charging regime and one set of spares rather than a drawer of AAs and a guess about which are fresh.
