About the ETC Nomad 6k Basic Kit

The ETC Nomad 6k Basic Kit is the stripped-back, ultra-portable way to put the full power of ETC’s Eos platform on a show. It pairs the Eos Programming Wing with the ETCnomad 6K dongle, unlocking 6,144 outputs across 48 DMX universes from a single, road-ready package. You bring a laptop and a monitor; the kit brings the console.

Unlike the full ETC Nomad 6k Kit, the Basic Kit leaves the 20 Fader Wing and flight case behind in favour of just the programming surface and dongle, packed into a briefcase. It is the right call when you want hands-on Eos control without hauling a full console rig.

What’s in the kit

Eos Programming Wing — the full backlit Eos face from ETC’s Gio and Gio @5 range, with four rotary encoders, direct playback and level controls, and the complete Eos button layout.
ETCnomad 6K dongle — unlocks 6,144 outputs across 48 universes of the Eos Family software running on your laptop. The wing has a dedicated USB port that stores and secures the dongle, so the key travels locked to the surface.
Briefcase — the wing and dongle pack into a single briefcase for fast, protected transport.

Built for touring

The whole kit lives in a briefcase, so it travels as checked luggage and sets up on a production desk in minutes. That makes the Nomad 6k Basic Kit ideal for touring productions, fly-away programming, backup control, and pre-vis work where a full console is impractical. Because it runs native Eos, show files move seamlessly to and from Ion Xe, Gio, Gio @5, and Ti consoles, so a programmer can prep in the office, hand off to a touring LD on a full desk, and bring the file back without translation.
