The ETC Nomad 1k Compact Kit is a self-contained, portable lighting control system built around ETC’s industry-standard Eos software. Rather than a dedicated console surface, Nomad runs on a laptop, making it one of the most flexible and cost-effective control solutions available for productions that demand professional-grade software without the bulk of a full console.

The kit includes a pre-configured laptop loaded with Eos, the Gadget II USB-to-DMX interface providing two universes of DMX/RDM output via 5-pin XLR, and the CMD Keys accessory for direct command-line access, replicating the tactile key layout of a full Eos console. The 1K dongle unlocks control of up to 1024 parameters, making this kit well suited to small-to-medium rigs across a broad range of event types.
