Control & Connectivity

The Ion Xe runs full Eos Family software, giving operators access to the same feature set found on ETC’s flagship Eos Ti and Apex consoles. Two 100mm main playback faders handle primary cue stack duties, while the 20-fader wing extends control across 100 pages of submasters, channels, and effects, each page instantly readable via the wing’s onboard LCD displays. Four pageable encoders handle non-intensity parameters for fast, tactile control of moving lights, LEDs, and media servers without leaving the keyboard. Dual external monitor support (up to 3840×2160 resolution) provides a full Eos multi-window layout for patch, live, magic sheets, and cuelist views simultaneously. The Ion Xe communicates natively over ETCNet3, sACN, and Art-Net, integrating cleanly into existing venue networks or touring rigs with ETC nodes and gateways.
