The Astera Pluto Fresnel is a professional-grade, battery-powered LED Fresnel designed for productions that demand high-quality tungsten-style output without the constraints of mains power. Drawing just 80W, the Pluto Fresnel delivers output comparable to a 300W tungsten Fresnel, making it an efficient and powerful tool for cinematographers, lighting directors, and event technicians alike.

A continuously variable zoom from 15° to 60° gives operators precise beam control directly from the fixture, with no additional lenses or barn door swaps required. Tunable white output across 3200K to 6500K allows seamless matching to ambient conditions or deliberate shifts in colour temperature to suit the scene.

Wireless Freedom & Control

The Pluto Fresnel is built around the Astera ecosystem, supporting both wired DMX and wireless CRMX via LumenRadio, the industry-standard wireless DMX protocol trusted on touring productions and broadcast sets worldwide. With an integrated battery providing up to three hours of runtime at full output, the fixture can be rigged in locations where running power cables is impractical or impossible: overhead truss positions, location film shoots, remote stages, or temporary event structures.

The Power/Data Combination Cable allows multiple units to be daisy-chained for simultaneous charging and DMX distribution when mains power is available, streamlining setup time on large-scale calls.
