The Astera NYX Bulb is a professional-grade, colour-tuneable LED bulb built for film, television, theatre, and live event applications where precise, controllable light from a standard lamp fitting is essential. Engineered by Astera, the NYX Bulb fits directly into E27 and B22 lamp sockets, or runs from a DC power source (5–18VDC), making it a seamless drop-in upgrade for practicals, lanterns, and custom prop rigs that demand wireless DMX control without compromising the look of the fitting.

Operating across a wide colour temperature range of 3200K to 6500K, the NYX Bulb allows cinematographers and lighting designers to match tungsten sources, shift to daylight, or land anywhere in between, all wirelessly via CRMX, RF, or Bluetooth. Its 180° beam angle produces a natural, omni-directional spread consistent with a conventional bulb, preserving the authenticity of practical fixtures on set or on stage.

Wireless Control & Integration

The NYX Bulb is compatible with the Astera AsteraApp ecosystem, allowing individual or group programming via Bluetooth from a smartphone or tablet.
