About the Astera PowerStation

The Astera PowerStation is a dedicated battery pack and programming interface designed exclusively for use with the Astera NYX Bulb. Rather than simply acting as a power source, the PowerStation doubles as a configuration tool, allowing operators to set DMX addresses, adjust colour output, and dial in brightness directly on the unit. Crucially, the NYX Bulb retains all programmed settings after being disconnected from the PowerStation, meaning fixtures can be pre-configured in advance and deployed independently once on location.

Flexible Mounting & On-Site Workflow

The PowerStation’s compact, lightweight form factor makes it easy to integrate into a wide variety of rigging scenarios. It supports multiple mounting methods including airline track attachment, magnetic mounting, and hanger options, giving crew the flexibility to position it wherever it’s most useful on set or stage. Its small footprint means it can be tucked discreetly into practical set pieces, behind scenery, or within rigging structures without adding significant bulk or weight to the rig.
