About the Astera QuikSpot

The Astera QuikSpot is a battery-powered LED Fresnel/spot fixture built for productions where speed, flexibility, and output quality are non-negotiable. Powered by a 60W RGBMA LED engine, the QuikSpot delivers a rich, mixed-colour light source capable of producing saturated hues as well as high-quality whites, making it equally at home as a key light, accent fixture, or architectural uplight. The manual zoom system adjusts continuously from a tight 13° spot to a wide 60° flood, giving operators precise control over beam character without the need for additional optics or accessories.

Performance & Control

The QuikSpot’s IP65-rated housing makes it a genuine outdoor fixture, suitable for festival stages, garden events, building facades, and any production environment where weather exposure is a factor. Onboard battery runtime extends to approximately 4.5 hours at full output and up to 20 hours in economy mode, dramatically reducing cable runs and rigging complexity in locations where power distribution is limited or impractical. Control is equally versatile: the fixture accepts wired 5-pin DMX, CRMX/UHF wireless DMX, Bluetooth, and Astera’s dedicated app, allowing seamless integration into both conventional lighting rigs and fully wireless setups. This makes the QuikSpot a natural fit for productions already running Astera ecosystem fixtures such as the Titan Tube or AX1.
