The Robert Juliat Cyrano 1015 is a 2500W HMI long-throw followspot built for the largest rooms in live production. Its narrow 3° to 8° beam is engineered for the extreme throw distances found in arenas, stadia, opera houses and large-format theatres, delivering a punchy, even white field at a 6000K colour temperature with a CRI of 90 that holds true on camera and to the back row alike.

Performance & Features

At the heart of the Cyrano is a 2500W HMI discharge lamp pushing roughly 240,000 lumens through a quartz condenser and variable zoom optics, with independent control of beam size and focus for a razor-sharp edge at any angle. Its signature smooth dimmer shutter holds a flat beam and a consistent colour temperature right through a fade, a dimming ability that surpasses most comparable units and makes the Cyrano a fixture of choice for opera and large TV shows. A fully closing iris cassette, a 6-way self-cancelling boomerang colour changer, a flip-in progressive frost and CTO correction filter, plus a glass and metal gobo holder give the operator a complete toolkit from a single position. Hot restrike restarts the lamp immediately after a power interruption, and the separate magnetic PSU keeps weight and heat off the head.
