The Event Lighting Boom Arm 105B is a steel horizontal extension arm designed to position lighting fixtures away from the main support structure, whether that’s truss, a lighting stand, or a pipe grid. With a black powder-coated finish and a robust M10 threaded connector, it provides a secure and reliable mounting point for moving heads, LED wash fixtures, profiles, and other stage luminaires. At 500mm in length and rated to an 80kg safe working load, this boom arm is well suited to demanding production environments where structural confidence is non-negotiable.

Applications in Live Production

Boom arms are a practical solution wherever precise off-axis fixture placement is required without introducing additional floor stands. They are commonly used on concert stages and touring rigs to angle fixtures into downstage positions, in theatrical lighting rigs to achieve precise side-light and shin-buster positions, and on film and TV sets where floor space is at a premium. The pipe clamp mounting makes installation and strike fast and tool-efficient, keeping rig time to a minimum.
