Engineering & Safety

Safety is central to the Stagemaker SR’s design. A double brake system is fitted as standard, providing redundant load-holding capability in the event of a primary brake failure, a critical requirement for overhead entertainment loads above people. The magnetic limit switch prevents over-travel at both upper and lower limits, with an optional electric limit switch available for applications requiring more precise positioning.

The proprietary Chainflux system uses a 5-pocket load wheel with improved chain guiding geometry, significantly reducing the risk of chain twist, jamming, or mis-seating under dynamic load conditions. The black lifting chain is the industry standard for stage environments, minimising visual distraction under stage lighting. Available in two control variants, Version A (direct control) and Version B (low voltage control), the hoist can be integrated into a wide range of control systems from simple pendant operation through to full motor control networks.
