Overview

About the Universal Beam Clamp

The Universal Beam Clamp is a heavy-duty aluminium rigging clamp designed for securely suspending lighting fixtures, truss accessories, and other production equipment from structural beams. With a beam width compatibility of 40–130mm, it accommodates a wide range of I-beams and box beams commonly found in venues, theatres, and temporary event structures. A Safe Working Load of 100kg makes it suitable for most professional lighting fixtures encountered in live production.

Rigging Versatility

The clamp features five threaded holes (two M10, two M12, and one M14), providing flexibility to accept the bolt configurations used across the majority of moving heads, par cans, and other rigging hardware. The aluminium construction keeps the clamp lightweight at 1.3kg while maintaining the structural integrity required for safe overhead rigging. As with all overhead rigging hardware, it should be used in conjunction with an appropriate safety bond and inspected regularly in accordance with relevant AS/NZS standards and local work health and safety requirements.
