Krank’d proudly provided the lighting design and technical execution for QSO Rite of Spring, an awe-inspiring collaboration between Circa Contemporary Circus and the Queensland Symphony Orchestra at QPAC.
This visually stunning production reimagined Igor Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring, blending powerful orchestration with gravity-defying acrobatics. Under the expert direction of Circa, performers pushed the limits of movement and physical storytelling, while the live symphonic score added intensity and depth to each breathtaking moment.
Our team at Krank’d meticulously crafted a dynamic lighting design to enhance the dramatic energy of the performance, sculpting the stage with striking contrasts, immersive hues, and carefully timed cues that elevated both the orchestral and acrobatic elements.
